The iMfolozi River
The main artery of liquid life is almost dry to the bone. The Nyala Municipality of which St Lucia Town is part of has severe water restrictions.
St Lucia is an Island Comunity with a lot of demand on its limited resources and with Foreign Toursit markets being exploited this time of the year we all have to pitch in to make it as bearable as possible with what we have.
Many Resorts has gone to extreme lengths to bring water to their residents.
In some cases it is just not enough. People on Holiday demand to be treated like V.I.P.
In which case iSimangaliso Wetland Park should not be for you.
Patrons must bare with service providers during these trying times.
Don't use the water as if it is your last day on earth. Use it as if you want it to last until the last day on earth.
We can only hope the catchment areas get rain soon so the drought stricken Zululand can get back to Business as usual.
