Climate change, weather extremes or Green House gasses, why do we have so much mist in the mornings along the iSimangaliso Wetlands coast.
Residents that reside in St. Lucia for more than one year will confirm that we will be catching Shad this season. Sardine will be early and in abundance. Fishing will pick up from the south coast and should be good at Durban’s South Pierre by the first full moon in June.
Fishing in St. Lucia will improve over the next month and by mid July we will be catching large size Kingfish, Queen fish and plenty Shad. Large shoals of baitfish will come in close to shore and legal cast net owners will have good success in the open ocean.
