Sediment Choking

With all the sediment traps neglected and all the soil erosion happening in the catchment areas St Lucia Estuary is Suffocating with sediment Built up.

It's clear that the Msunduzi System is now higher than se level and the back pressure is flooding productive Sugarcane Farms.

South Africa has reclaimed previously thought Wetlands and Marshes like elsewhere in the World as productive farmlands. This is not best practice when it comes to habitat preservation, but it creates jobs and valuable export commodities.

Sediment can be proactively managed in the catchment areas where it's not only job creation in areas with very low commercial activities, but also lacking the Infrastructure for Industrialisation.

With propper Sediment Management in the catchment areas Crucial Habitats can be saved and contribute positively to Carbon Recycling Wich is actually the main cause of "Global Warming" Scare.

Habitat intregity is the key to human intergration with Natural Resources that is called sustainable Development or Utilisation.
Somewhere along the line humans started blame shifting between the different user groups and actually we can all participate in Recourse Sharing and Utilisation.
